Welcome to Argentina! This week Mack and I made asado together. We had a few speed bumps and delays but the wait was worth it. I will admit we did not take pictures while making it so this will be a shorter post.

Argentina is a country making up the southern tail of South America. It is known for its Mate cultural and beautiful natural areas.
Argentina is also known for their Asado not to be confused with Asada. Asado is essentially grilled meats. While Asada is a Mexican dish Asado is is prepared differently.

To start off we made chimichurri with fresh herbs and a marinade for the steak. We grilled up some carrots and potatoes with aspargus and then roasted the meat. We had planned to grill but as I said speed bumps prevented that. Once finished we drizzled the chimichurri over the vegetables and steak. Mack then toasted up some homemade baggutte to go along with the dish.

The meal was perfect. The chimichurri added a wonderful spicy kick to it and was absolutely delicious. We used the recipe below https://hispanickitchen.com/recipes/recipe-argentinean-asado/
I would give this a 10 out 10. And will definitely make again. Check in next time for Armenian Manti I promise a more detailed post next time!
